Description: The medieval church of San Gil (Atienza, Spain) was built in the Middle Ages (12th century), after the Christian conquest of this territory. This is a beautiful example of the Romanesque style although in the 16th century the church underwent a major extension to increase its capacity. Inside the church, two capitals decorated with human heads stand out (one head represents good and the other evil). The main portal of the church was built in Plateresque style. It currently houses the Atienza Museum of Religious Art.
Methodology: 3D model made in Reality Capture using 127 Leica RTC360 scan positions and 5029 terrestrial and drone-based images. Additional processing completed in Geomagic Wrap.
